Art as an engine for change

The work of Belgium artist Koen Vanmechelen is the genesis and transformational motor of what Mouth does.

Vanmechelen's art extends far outside the walls of the museums. His installations and projects actively integrate science, antropology, nature and communities, touching on contemporary issues regarding human rights, resilience, sustainability and multiculturalism.

The MOUTH Foundation further explores and enables this interaction of art, science and socio-economic activity

for the development of a healthier, more constructive social and ecological balance.
